Behind the Scenes

The process began with in-depth conversations with showrunner Belinda Jombwe about character, setting, and context. The project offered fantastic opportunities for playful, eclectic settings: a cluttered, hoarder’s farmhouse, a pink baby shower, a Y2K teen bedroom, a kitschy country shop stocked with everything from garden gnomes to detergent, a mud puddle and a garage sale, among others.
